Professor Sandeep Ranote FRCPsych
Professor Sandeep Ranote is a Consultant Paediatric Psychiatrist & NHS Director with published research on neuro-imaging in mothers with mental illness, eating disorders in young people and self harm. She has led the development of student mental health services in the UK and continues to advise in this area. She advocates strongly for the third sector through her trustee work and particularly in strengthening social prescribing in mental health. Sandeep is also a regular expert media spokesperson for mental health and a contributing author to “The Female Mind “ (Royal College of Psychiatrists) . She is a Visiting Professor in Mental Health at The University of Salford and clinical advisor to Edge Hill Univeristy Arts in Health Research Centre, now working with World Health Organisation.
